Chopard Santal Odeyar is a warm and inviting woody unisex perfume released in 2022 by the Chopard brand. The scent is part of the Gardens collection, which is dedicated to ethical sourcing and sustainability. The three perfume compositions included in the collection are the embodiment of the brand’s vision of the ecological future of the planet. This vision is projected on the skin, on a cashmere jumper, on the hair or the air around us, and everyone can tell this story in their own way.

When creating the composition, perfumer Alberto Morillas wanted to create a garden similar to the Arabian Nights. In an emerald green bottle, Santal Odeyar is filled with rare and even unique-sounding perfume ingredients. The perfume is based on the special smell of sandalwood. Because sandalwood became endangered in India, it was brought to Australia in the 1990s. Once in other soils, Australian sandalwood acquired a slightly different sound, different from the Indian one. The composition uses Australian sandalwood. The composition's top notes of Calabrian bergamot and Italian mandarin, pear and mango captivate with their softness and beauty of sound. Orange blossom from Tunisia and Morocco, grandiflora jasmine from Egypt, jasmine sambac from India and damask rose from Turkey form the heart of the fragrance. While the final accord includes white sandalwood from Australia, rosehip absolute from Spain and benzoin resin from Siam.

The ingredients of the Chopard Santal Odeyar perfume are reminiscent of past travelers and the continents they passed through.
