Timeless, sophisticated and expressive, the new Alpine Eagle models, in sporty chic style, are the modern version of the first St Moritz wristwatch, created in 1980 by Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, currently co-president of Chopard. The Alpine Eagle watch is the quintessence of craftsmanship and daring creative pursuits of three generations of watchmakers. They conceived and developed the design of the Alpine Eagle, inspired by their boundless love for the Alps and inspired by the majestic image of the eagle reigning supreme in the Alpine sky. The Aletsch blue dial is reminiscent of the largest glacier in the Swiss Alps. Rhodium plated Roman numerals and hour markers with Super-LumiNova Grade X1. The watch is made of high-strength reflective exclusive Lucent A223 steel and is equipped with a chronometer-certified movement.

This chronograph is the third model to join the Alpine Eagle collection and the first model with a very large diameter of 44 mm and a height of 13.15 mm - the size needed to accommodate a complex movement.

The updated mechanism is equipped with a unidirectional gear train, which avoids energy loss and provides fast winding, as well as instant start timing. The new flyback function allows you to measure short periods of time without interrupting the watch.
